Wish Less Gallery is thrilled to announce the solo exhibition of Taiwanese artist Lee Kan Kyo who has been active in Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea. Lee faithfully reproduces supermarkets flyers and the covers of weekly magazines, and reflects the peculiarities of Japanese culture that are often overlooked.
Recently Lee released a collection of clothes in collaboration with the fashion brand Supreme for their 2022 Spring/Summer collection.
In this exhibition, Lee will present painting works inspired by the popular NFT boom. Also there will be a performance element, such as setting up a DVD rental corner at the gallery. Please pay close attention to the overwhelming amount of information in his finished pieces and his unique take on the NFT phenomenon laced with plenty of irony and humor.
