Artists

Masashi Asada, Kon Ito, Magma
BAG-Brillia Art Gallery- is located in Kyobashi, right in the middle of the so-called old Edo area. During the Edo period, Kyobashi, Nihonbashi, and Shimbashi bridges were under the direct control of the shogunate, and they were decorated with "giboshi" ornaments. The area inside these three bridges was called "Giboshiuchi", and it supported the prosperity of Edo culture in various aspects. In this exhibition, photographer Masashi Asada introduces the people of modern Giboshiuchi by capturing their daily lives as he walks through the town. It also features works by guest artists, poet Kon Ito, and magma.
