"Spectral" will be Mika Tajima's first exhibition at Taro Nasu in four years. The meaning behind the title is "ghost-like", as well as a term in optics and physics.
In this exhibition we will introduce works from the "Negative Entropy" series of jacquard weave paintings and the "Art d’Ameublement" series of acrylic paintings. Added to this works, for which Tajima is well known, will be glass works from the "Anima" series which is a new attempt for the artist, and the "New Humans" which Tajima presented at Okayama Art Summit in 2019.
