Miki Sato has been using "face" as a motif in her work to express the complex and inexpressible energy of this world and its interpretation. In this incomprehensibility, which is the essence of face-to-face encounters, can also be seen the fertile and vast horizon of perception, thought, and inquisitiveness, and the source of the nature and ethics of human existence.
