Mitsuaki Iwago
Pantanal, world's largest wetland area, is located in the central part of South America. Majority of its territory is within Brazil, with some parts in Bolivia and Paraguay. Pantanal's area is equal to that of Japan's Honshu, and a large part of the Brazil's Pantanal is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Pantanal is considered a repository of all sorts of life with various animals living in the area of the wetlands, which shows dramatic difference between the rainy and the dry seasons.
In this exhibition, the internationally renowned wildlife photographer Mitsuaki Iwago's photographs from Pantanal will be presented in a documentary style.
