Nobuaki Itoh
Waitingroom is pleased to announce Nobuaki Itoh's solo exhibition "Human's Photographs / Dung and Flowers", starting from June 25th (Sat) until July 24th (Sun), 2022. Itoh's interests are the unavoidable topics of the body, life and death, and mentality, which he presents through his installations and video works. This will be Itoh's third exhibition at the gallery and the first one in four years. The artist will present the video work "Human's Photographs", an "excersice" where he plays the mentor, and which will make emerge the "unseen people" in this photograph-flooded world, as well as "Dung and Flowers" - a video works composed of the bright flowers and the artist's excrement. “Candle / Cut Flowers / Sleep / Smoke", where the artist strips his skin under the metaphor of death, as well as "Time Cannot Go Back (2020-2022)” made during the corona virus outbreak.
