The EU-Japan Fest Japan Committee (Tokyo) has organized the photography project "European Eyes on Japan/Japan Today" since 1999. European photographers are invited to take photographs under the theme of "People and their Lives Today" in various places around Japan. In 2001, Okayama Prefecture was selected for the fieldwork. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the last exhibition, the Okayama Prefectural Museum of Art presents the past works as well as recent photographs of people and landscapes in Okayama by four photographers associated with the prefecture.
