One year has passed since exhibition "Youth (tentative)," a group show held last April. Yutaka Kikutake Gallery wanted to introduce artists who continue to create their works as if they were mirrors of their own hearts, without feeling constrained by the values of others. It also believes that communicating one's own heart should lead to understanding the hearts of others.
The catalyst for this exhibition was the war in Ukraine that broke out at the end of February this year. Like many of you, the gallery is deeply saddened by this tragedy and has decided to hold this exhibition to see what it can do to help. It plans to donate a portion of the proceeds from the sales of the works and original charity badges, produced with the cooperation of Yoshitomo Nara (also an exhibiting artist at this show), to the Red Cross and other charitable organizations.
