This exhibition introduces the non-uniform techniques and principles of image-making through an exhibition of devices and equipment for image-making from the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography's collection, and also focuses on the mechanisms and tools of image-making techniques, disassembling and reassembling elements to add criticism to the standardized image. The works of artists who have reinvented image-making as something new by focusing on the mechanics and tools of image-making techniques, deconstructing and reassembling elements, and adding critiques to standardized images.
