Rikako Kawauchi
Rikako Kawauchi will hold an exhibition "Colours in summer" to celebrate the publication of her new book of works. In conjunction with the exhibition, online pre-orders for the special edition of the book with multiple works will be available on a special page. Online pre-orders for the regular edition of the book will also be available from June 17 (Fri.) at 10:00 a.m.

Taking her interest in food as her starting point, artist Rikako Kawauchi expresses the obscurity of the body and thought, self, and others, and their interrelationships in communication, not only through drawings and paintings, but also through a wide range of media such as wire, rubber tubing, and resin.

The theme of this exhibition is Kawauchi's discomfort with food and the body, which she has felt since childhood. The exhibition will feature a number of works, including paintings inspired by the dynamic animals in the mythical world of Claude Lévi-Strauss.

In conjunction with the publication of the book, a special edition of the book with multiple works will be announced, and online entry will begin on July 1 (Fri.) at 10:00 a.m. on a special website.
