Sanno Festival— Two Painters and The People, The Town and The Festival

This exhibition will present the works of two artists, Chikashi Okada and Eizo Kinoshita, in which Edo period is mixed with present day, as well as a replica of a splendid picture scroll, painted in Edo period and depicting Sanno Festival. Since 2020 and including this year, the festival has been postponed due to the prevention of the spread of the virus, but we hope that people will enjoy it at the exhibition venue.
During the exhibition period, okariya temporary booths used during the festival, as well as photographic reports of the festival taken by the 3331 Arts Chiyoda staff will be on display at the wooden deck area.
