Kenichiro Isaka, Takashi Kato, Yuka Koike, Yuka Kuriyama, Aoi Suzuki, Tsutomu Deto
This exhibition features works by Kenichiro Isaka, his students from his days as an instructor at Kawaijuku Art Institute, and his students from the University of Yamanashi's Faculty of Education and Human Sciences (now the Faculty of Education) and Isaka Laboratory (painting field).

Isaka utilizes the characteristics of oxidized titanium and alkyd resin paints to present his paintings with a new sense of value. Takashi Kato attempts contact between everyday acts and commodities and his own body, and from this, he senses hope and rebirth. Yuka Kuriyama senses the life energy of color and form from memories of light and darkness. Yuka Koike creates works based on various abstract concepts and sensory thoughts from the form and ecology of plants. Aoi Suzuki leaves behind as paintings the accumulation of time spent gazing at his motifs, transforming what is usually "seen" into an opportunity to "see. Tsutomu Deto creates spaces that make the viewer want to dive in and explore, apart from the surrounding world.
