Shigeru Mizuki
Shigeru Mizuki (real name Shigeru Takera 1922-2015), a genius of the Japanese manga world known for such works as "Gegege no Kitaro". He was fascinated by a painting of Hell and Paradise from the collection of Shofukuji Temple when he was a boy in Sakaiminato, Tottori, and since then he has believed in the unseen world. This exhibition introduces Mizuki's unique manga expression through manga manuscripts, original drawings, his favorite tools, and a variety of visual materials.
