Fuji Gallery Shinjuku is pleased to announce Shin Itagaki's exhibition. The works presented here are created during the artist's stay in Iceland in 2021.
Itagaki takes part in artists in residence programs both in Japan and abroad, and creates paintings and installations that convey the motifs of the particular place that he resides in. Here will be presented works such as "Mountain" inspired by the mountains near the seashore close to Itagaki's residence in Iceland, "I, Seals and Winds" video works showing seals and kite-flying, "Sweet Sweet Home" that shows the connection between the boiled eggs and the geothermal power generation, and more.
