Shinichi Asano
Shinichi Asano was born in Nishinomiya, Hyogo in 1982, graduated from Kyoto University of Art and Design in 2005, majored in oil painting at Hiroshima City University in 2007, and won the Fukui Shimbun Award at the 30th Anniversary Fukui Sam Hall Art Exhibition in 2001. In the same year, he won the Seed Prize at the 3rd Realism Grand Prize Exhibition. In 2005, he exhibited his work at the Kyoto Art for Tomorrow - Kyoto Prefecture Selected New Artists Exhibition.

Asano pursues the expression of light using familiar objects as motifs. He has participated in many solo and group exhibitions in Kyoto and other cities. This will be Asano's second solo exhibition at our Tokyo branch, and he will exhibit more than a dozen oil paintings.
