Suzuka Yoshida
Suzuka Yoshida is a lyrical painter who uses the characteristics of acrylics to create color compositions and rich tones to depict children who are alone in nature or lost in thought. Her landscapes are realistic, but not photorealistic. They overlap with the imaginary landscapes that everyone has experienced in their mind, and viewers can find a connection with their own memories in the work. The boy in the painting seems to overlap with the viewer herself, creating an effect that naturally invites the viewer to become emotionally involved, leading to dialogue with oneself through the world of the work.
