In spite of the large gender gap in Japan that still exists, women artists have been remarkably active in the art world. This exhibition aims to show the "present" of women artists who, although their styles of expression and subject matter may differ, "turn a keen eye on the present, pursue a world that no one has seen before, give shape to that world, and leave some kind of mark on society" (Nobuo Shiga).

This is the second exhibition following the "Women 2021" exhibition organized by Nobuo Shiga and Tetsuya Miyata at Jimbocho Art Gallery & Legion in October last year. Gallery K (August 15-20) will be organized by Tetsuya Miyata, and Gallery Emu (August 20-28) by Nobuo Shiga.
