2024 Fox Talbot Prize Photography Exhibition

Shadai Gallery, Tokyo Institute of Polytechnics
Finished
The Fox Talbot Award was established in 1979 at the Tokyo Institute of Polytechnics to foster young photographers who are passionate about photographic expression and to promote the cultivation of photographers with an international perspective. This year marks the 45th edition of the award.

The award honors the achievements of William Henry Fox Talbot (1800-1877), inventor of the negative-positive process and considered the father of modern photography. With the cooperation of the Fox Talbot Museum in the United Kingdom, the award bears his name.

This year, under the rigorous scrutiny of five judges - Yoshihiro Tatsuki, Yoshitaka Nakatani, Kisai Kobayashi, Yang Seung-Woo, and Naoki Honjo - the winning works have been determined.

Please take a moment to appreciate the artistic expressions of young talents aspiring to become photographers.
