While Japanese painting as a genre is often associated with traditional motifs like flowers, birds, wind, moon, and beautiful women, it now transcends these boundaries, allowing for a diverse and unrestricted expression.
For this exhibition, artists have been selected by Fuyuhiko Yamamoto, who has been collecting works, particularly from emerging artists, for many years as a collector. Yamamoto has also been involved in proposing exhibition concepts, all to promote art appreciation.
