Accessories for Men and Women II: Techniques and Designs from Edo to Meiji and Taisho Periods

Kakegawa Ninomaru Museum
Finished
This spring, Kakegawa Ninomaru Museum will celebrate its 25th anniversary. This special exhibition commemorates this occasion, focusing on miniature crafts, the core of the museum's collection, and will introduce the diverse techniques and beauty of traditional crafts from the perspective of men's and women's jewelry. This year's exhibition features a gorgeous selection of works from the museum's "Kinoshita Collection" along with the Shimada City Museum's collection of combs and ornamental hairpins, a fitting addition to the museum's 25th-anniversary collection. In addition, as a special exhibit, three types of teacups from the "Teacups Exhibition" currently being held at the Shimada City Museum will also be on display.
