The exhibition focuses on young artists with distinctive painting styles and backgrounds, including those associated with the Inten (Japan Art Academy Exhibition) and artists from Shizuoka. After studying Nihonga at Aichi Prefectural University of the Arts, each artist has developed their unique expression. The exhibitors tackle a wide variety of subjects such as people, animals, and landscapes. We warmly invite you to view these contemporary Nihonga works created by young artists of today.
