An exhibition by Aki Tsukamoto, who explores the possibilities of painting by incorporating Surrealism, Cubism, Pop Art, and sampling techniques. Tsukamoto's artwork incorporates not only art history and theory, but Tsukamoto's personal background and memories as well. Tsukamoto's artistic creations skillfully interlace a myriad of images and colors, drawing inspiration from modern art masters, animated and manga characters, record jacket artwork, and the packaging of everyday consumer products found in supermarkets. In this harmonious amalgamation, Tsukamoto's paintings not only showcase the potential of painting in the future but also mirror the multifaceted facets of our present-day society.
