Akiko Ando
Akiko Ando was born in Ibaraki Prefecture in 1987. After graduating from the Department of Design at Tokyo Polytechnic University, she worked as an illustrator, creating show windows at Lumine Ikebukuro, book covers, CD artwork, and many other projects.

His main method of creation is collage, in which he cuts and pastes his own drawings to create the composition of a screen. The abstract motifs, human figures, alphabets, and other detailed elements laid out on an A4-size screen do not follow a predetermined image path, but rather gradually take form from accidental encounters of line and color. The forms are gradually formed from accidental encounters of line and color. He has produced many works on paper, but in recent years, he has been steadily expanding his range of expression by using various materials such as canvas and board.
