As an artist, Akiko Sumiyoshi creates paintings, sculptures, and installations with a consistent world view centered on a forest scene where loveable animals live. In this exhibition, which is Sumiyoshi's first at Tezukayama Gallery in four years, the artist will be presenting primarily paintings.
