Akio Ohmori
Akio Ohmori (b. 1971) makes sculptures from wood and bronze with animals, insects, and imaginary creatures as his motifs. The works he creates show both reality and fantasy, and are brimming with beauty and dignified vitality. Together with representative examples of his animal statues, his “in the frame” series employing mirror effects, and works combined with furniture, his latest works are also introduced.
