This marks Takaishi's third exhibition at Clinic, following "FxAxRxM vol.1 (2017)" and "Descending Garden (2019)."
In 2019, Takaishi introduced his painting series "Inner Surface." By combining bold strokes of acrylic paint with spray paint, this approach transforms the texture of the painting's surface, creating the illusion that the painting is a print medium. This challenges the materiality of painting and the uncertainty of human perception.
This exhibition will debut several new works from the "Inner Surface" series, including "S" and "N."
