After studying ceramics at Tama Art University, Asayo Yamamoto went to the Netherlands to study. Through the process of expanding her orientation from ceramics to contemporary art, she has recently focused on outdoor sculpture as her primary field of activity.
After participating in several group exhibitions at Sprout Curation, this is Asayo Yamamoto's first solo exhibition. She will exhibit ceramic work created during her study in the Netherlands and new objects made of rusted metal pieces of discarded construction materials covered with felt. The two series were created at different times and appear unrelated, but they have a common thread- the grid.
