Artists

Asuka Watanabe
Asuka Watanabe is an artist who traverses between the realms of designer and artist, engaging in a wide range of unique activities. Her works are characterized by geometric and abstract compositions and vibrant color palettes, and she is well-known for collaborations such as with the Fuji Rock Festival.

In this exhibition, numerous works will be displayed that uniquely express the theme of "coexistence of humans and nature in the city," capturing the atmosphere of spring and the breath of living organisms. Paintings depicting plants and animals were created not using digital graphic tools primarily used in her client work, but rather acrylic paints on canvas. Additionally, the coloring method is not fixed but reflects her mood at the time. The concept of "crossing boundaries" is an important keyword for her. Nevertheless, the consistent charm that emerges from each piece is a solid testament to her activities.

New and past works will be exhibited, providing a comprehensive view of Watanabe's artistic journey.
