Atelier 21 was founded by Kozo Ueda, Takahiro Okada, and Minoru Hirota as a place for mutual inspiration and skill improvement. Since 2012, the gallery has been exhibiting approximately 100 sketches by the three artists every year. From last year, sketches have become more diverse with the addition of close friends of the three artists.
