Artists

Aya Kurashiki
Aya Kurashiki's artwork revolves around the theme of exploring the distance between Kurashiki and others, seeking intimate communication and coexistence with others. To create collages, Kurashiki incorporates elements of Western paintings, photographs, and internet images. These elements are then transferred to canvas, fabric, mirrors, and stones. This exhibition examines women's portrayals in Eastern and Western paintings and explores the theme of "gaze" within a community.
