Ayako Rokkaku
2023 was a significant year for Ayako Rokkaku, with several large-scale exhibitions. In May and August, there were museum exhibitions in Shanghai and Chengdu, and in September, a solo exhibition in Berlin.

For this exhibition, Rokkaku has been working on new color schemes in canvas works. While maintaining the fresh sensation of previous color palettes, the artworks have been created by rearranging the consistent floating objects, organisms, and colors of inseparable abstraction and concreteness, inducing a pleasant margin of error in the viewer's speculation.

In this solo exhibition, which is the first in seven years in Japan, new canvas and cardboard works will be displayed, along with eight bronze works presented at the Long Museum in Shanghai in 2023.

Additionally, a collection of works from the Shanghai exhibition and bronze edition works tailored to this exhibition will be announced. Experience the new works by Ayako Rokkaku filled with positive energy.
