“Vanishing Point of the Ants” was conceived in response to the unique context of a window display exhibition. This title interprets the act of consumption as a “vanishing point,” portraying ants—commonly used in Korea as a metaphor for “ordinary people” or “the crowd”—converging toward a space where light and form dissolve into absence. The scene of "ants" (people) being drawn ever deeper into the product while losing their form, eventually converging into a single point, suggests a process in which distinct individual identities are directed toward a common path, and diverse forms are ultimately unified into one. Inside the gallery, several concave mirrors are installed on the walls, with a object shaped like a living creature placed before them. This object, which moves ever so slightly as if breathing, reflects distorted, transformed versions of themselves within the mirrors. Surrounding lights accentuate the undulating contours of the warped forms, producing a unique visual effect. A work that involving the act of "wearing" is also presented alongside a video piece. In the video, a person wearing the work walks through different parts of the city, periodically checking their reflection in mirrors. This video work, in which the they repeatedly check whether their form remains intact, serves as an exploration of the nature of consumption as it moves toward a vanishing point.
