Exhibitions of all kinds disappear after the exhibition ends. However, by incorporating some of the exhibited works into the collection of Contemporary Art Museum Kumamoto, the memories of the projects and works will be shared not only by those who were present at the exhibition, but also by those who will live 10, 20 years from now, and even into the future. It can be said that these projects and works will become "part of Kumamoto" through the collection. This exhibition attempts to reconfirm the meaning of the public collection by tracing the cultural memories accumulated through the museum's activities over the past 20 years.
