Other new acquisitions include a painting by Minako Nishiyama from last year's collection, an early work by Osamu Kunifu with a motif of vehicles, and a photographic work by Astrid Klein of Germany, the first work in a museum collection in Japan. Also on display will be a video installation by Sokaimo, acquired on the occasion of his 2010 solo exhibition "Sokaimo: Generation of Cross Sections," and a painting installation by Kodai Nakahara, acquired through the 2018 exhibition "New Wave: Contemporary Art of the 80s."
