The founders of Nakamuraya, Aizo and Kokko Soma, showed a deep understanding of art and culture, supporting Morie Ogihara (Rokuyama), a sculptor from the same hometown as Aizo, along with the young artists who admired Ogihara. They developed their talents through friendly competition at Nakamuraya. In addition to providing Nakamuraya's unique and original products, we also believe that it is our important mission to convey the artistic and cultural flavor left by the founder of Nakamuraya to the present, as well as to transmit new information to the public. In addition to introducing the work of Nakamuraya Salon artists, the museum will exhibit work and events related to emerging artists and the local community, as well as other projects designed to promote art and culture in general.
