The exhibition series' theme is "Conflict and Empathy in Japanese Society." Empathy involves understanding the emotions of individuals in different positions and imagining their thoughts and feelings. The exhibition explores societal gaps and discontinuities. It traces Daichi Sato's process of perceiving battles and empathy within these gaps and analyzing them. Sato, in previous exhibitions, aimed to connect with people from disparate, non-intersecting timelines. In this exhibition, Sato will bridge the gap between the oppressed and the overlooked and those unconsciously in oppressive positions, fostering connections.
