This exhibition introduces the past history and ideas of Dara Birnbaum, an artist who has been challenging the concepts of art and mass media for 50 years. Through a selection of two sound art pieces and two video installations, the exhibition will address themes such as gender bias in the portrayal of women in pop culture.
