The museum has in its collection approximately 4,000 original paintings by Kitakyushu-based artist Eiko Mutsu, deposited by the artist herself.
February is the month of Mutsu's birth (she was born on February 15), and this year will be especially memorable as on February 18, 2023, “Eiko Mutsu Art Gallery Hana Café" will open in Moji Ward.
