The gallery has been consistently showcasing Eisuke Sato's work since 2004, with Sato's notable pieces also found in collections like the Takahashi Ryutaro Collection. In this environment, the intertwining of water, trees, and Sato's own existence forms the core of Sato's expression. The exhibition delves into the fear and uncertainty associated with time's passage, depicting characters grappling with aging and existential anguish. Sato expresses this fear through distorted figures, aiming to find beauty in expression's distortions. Sato's art eliminates Western perspective, layering surfaces to portray a vague, fluid concept of time. Around 20 of Sato's latest works are featured in the exhibition.
