The exhibition "Encircle, Body. Encircle, Marunouchi." invites artists, Naoko Inoue and Michiko Tsuda, offering participants an interactive art project where they explore the city using scent as a guide, walking through the streets or running along an original course. The event takes place in the Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho (Daimaru YU) area, known as a business hub for domestic and international companies.
At each venue, documents such as videos and drawings related to the project will be exhibited, gradually increasing throughout the event period. This modest art initiative, conducted as part of the 2023 open class (social co-creation subject) "Exhibition Design Exercise" by the Tokyo University of the Arts Curatorial Education and Research Center.
The locations include Slit Park Yurakucho, Yau Studio, and various places in the Daimaru Yu area.

1. Naoko Inoue "Sniff Walk" & Workshop (reservation required, first-come-first-served)
Date: January 13th (Saturday) 14:00-16:00

Capacity: 15 people
2. Yau Salon Vol. 20 "Sniff Walk" & Talk on "Scent and Memory" (Reservation required, first-come-first-served)

Speakers: Naoko Inoue × Mika Shirasu (olfactory researcher)
Capacity: 15 for "Sniff Walk" only (Observation welcome)
3. Michiko Tsuda "and run Encircle, Marunouchi" (Reservation required, first-come-first-served)
Date: January 20th (Saturday) 9:00-10:30 (Approximately 5km, for experienced runners), 14:30-16:00 (Approximately 2km, for beginners)
Meeting Place: Yau Studio
Capacity: 7 participants for each session
