KOTARO NUKAGA Roppongi is pleased to present ‘Ensemble #2‘, a group exhibition by Candida Höfer, known for her large format color photographs of meticulously composed architectural interiors, along with pieces by Michael Rikio Ming Hee Ho, Nir Hod, Mariko Kobayashi, José Parlá, and Takehiro Iikawa, from August 26, 2025.
The exhibition will exhibit Nir Hod’s 100 Years is Not Enough series, which has been generating considerable attention for being displayed at Dior’s flagship store that newly opened at Manhattan on August 6, 2025.
Additionally, the exhibition will feature works by Michael Rikio Ming Hee Ho that combine symbolic imagery with bold text to foster spontaneous dialogue between viewers and the artworks; pieces by Mariko Kobayashi that express various connections existing in the world through textile techniques; paintings by José Parlá characterized by his distinctive calligraphy and multi-layered painting surfaces; and works from Takehiro Iikawa’s Decorator Crab series that unfold while provoking thought in viewers.
