This exhibition is organized by six students from the Kyoto City University of Arts Graduate School of Fine Arts, Department of Conceptual Design.
The title "F Location" is a coined term that combines “F Building” (the venue for the exhibition) and “F-stop” (the aperture setting on a camera lens). This “location,” which is undergoing continuous redevelopment involving our university, can appear either brighter or more blurred depending on the “value” of the lens aperture, reflecting how the site can look different based on our involvement and perspective.
The exhibition "F Location" features six artists who primarily work with photography and video. Through their practices, they present this evolving area as an image that appears indistinct and unclear.
