Figure Ceramics

Miyake Museum of Art
Finished
In conjunction with the "Narrative Body" exhibition, an exhibition featuring ceramics with motifs of deities and figures is being held.

On display are sophisticated twisted figures (Satsuma-yaki dolls) depicting characters such as Taro Urashima, eminent monks, and celestial deities. Additionally, visitors will find strikingly realistic representations, such as the first-generation Chotaro's masterpiece depicting an Arhat statue, reminiscent of sculpture.
