Over 4,000 works from the museum's collection are exhibited several times a year. The exhibition features works of modern art from Japan and the West, including works by Ibaraki-based artists such as Taikan Yokoyama, Unsen Ogawa, and Tsune Nakamura, and is themed accordingly.
