Foresk / Japan Launch Exhibition

Mustard Hotel Shimokitazawa
Finished
FORESK, a Korea-based design brand that creates objects harmonizing sensibility and ecology through 3D printing and smart factory technology, will hold its first exhibition in Japan at MUSTARD™ HOTEL SHIMOKITAZAWA starting Friday, September 19, 2025.
In the hotel lobby, visitors will find FORESK’s signature “STILLLEBEN” pieces produced with 3D printing, along with limited-edition collaborative trays inspired by the hotel’s brand colors and the concurrent “Moon Art Night Shimokitazawa 2025.” During the exhibition period, FORESK’s original objects will also be displayed in the Twin and Deluxe Rooms, and the collaborative trays will be introduced across all guest rooms.

The trays were custom-designed to meet the hotel’s requests and produced through FORESK’s on-demand manufacturing system, enabling production in just the required quantities. This sustainable approach minimizes excess inventory and waste; after the exhibition, the trays will be put to practical use in every guest room.

FORESK was founded in Seoul in 2022 by Seonghwan Park, who studied product design at Hongik University. Drawing on his experience confronting environmental issues caused by mass production, Park explores the theme of “responsibility in manufacturing” and the pursuit of sustainable beauty. Using upcycled materials such as discarded seashells and recycled plastics collected along Korea’s coastlines, FORESK creates designs inspired by organic forms and natural curves, delivering poetic and artistic moments to interior spaces while balancing aesthetics with environmental consciousness.
