In celebration of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations with Jordan, an exchange exhibition is being organized for the first time in ten years. This event aims to introduce Jordan, still relatively unknown in Japan, and showcase the current Jordanian art scene through the works of Yuko Kawaguchi and contemporary Jordanian artists. The exhibition will feature around 20 paintings, including prints, a video on Jordan’s art scene, and photographs from the country. On October 12 at 17:00, an Arab music performance will take place, featuring the oud, played by Satoko Ogino, and the nai flute, performed by Nobuko Miyazaki.
