Fusako Kodama's "Osaka"

The Third Gallery Aya
Finished

Artists

Fusako Kodama
The first exhibition of 2023 will be Fusako Kodama's “Osaka." Kodama studied photography at the Kuwasawa Design School and has since been based in Tokyo. As a result, it is not widely known that Kodama, a native of Wakayama Prefecture, has taken photographs in the Kansai region. This exhibition unearths and exhibits work that shows "Osaka," which can be said to be her starting point, including "Osaka' 69,” Kodama's debut work. Kodama's consistent curiosity about the city and its people is alive and well here and is sure to transport the viewer back to the "Osaka" of the 1960s.
