Shunji Yamanaka
The Yamanaka Laboratory began at Keio University SFC in 2008, and since 2013 has continued to consider the nodes between people and technology at the Institute of Industrial Science, The University of Tokyo.
This exhibition features more than 30 original sketches by retiring Professor Shunji Yamanaka and prototypes guided by these sketches. In addition to designers and artists, the exhibition will also feature the work of 24 of the institute's graduates who are now working in diverse creative fields, including cartoonists, copywriters, illustrators, inventors, and others. A variety of talk events with invited guests will be held during the exhibition.
