Kazuhisa Moriuchi
Kazuhisa Moriuchi was born in Hitoyoshi City, Kumamoto Prefecture. After graduating from university, he taught art at high schools in the prefecture. Since the 1980s, he has been involved in a wide range of artistic activities, including creating works using ash from burned washi, plaster, and lime, in both two-dimensional and installation formats. He has continued to present his work both domestically and internationally.
This exhibition will focus on his latest installation work, "Contemplation," which explores various perspectives on quietly gazing and reflecting. It also includes early works, offering a comprehensive view of his expressive world.
