The Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company is actively involved in corporate patronage activities related to contemporary art. They maintain a collection of award-winning artworks from the VOCA (Vision of Contemporary Art) Exhibition and make them available for public viewing in their Dai-ichi Life Gallery/Lobby. Additionally, it hosts solo exhibitions for award-winning artists from the VOCA exhibition, giving artists a platform to display their work and giving the public a chance to experience contemporary art. Currently, the work of Gaku Matsuoka, the recipient of the 2015 VOCA Exhibition Honorable Mention Award, is being showcased, with about eight large-scale paintings on display.
